Mark ends his gospel with silent, fleeing, fearful women.  And we see them and say:  “Now what?  Certainly the gospel can’t end in silence!  Certainly there must be more to the story!”  Maybe…just may this where WE COME IN!  CERTAINLY…this is Mark’s point.  Mark 16:1-8

Jesus mode of entry was meant to be humble…very different from the way society would expect a grand entrance.  Was Jesus somehow preparing us for what came next…Good Friday et al?   Mark 11: 1-11
