“Remembering Our Baptism”
January 10th, 2010
Baptism by water and fire. As that similar to being thrown into the frying plan and learning as you go as they say? is it a terrible ordeal? The Fire is actually The “heat” of God’s holiness. These fires don’t consume, they make holy. It’s like when you site in front of the campfire for a little too long, your face might begin to “glow” a bit, turn a little red. You might even start to sweat a little, take on a little “luster”. At our baptisms we take on a new luster. A luster and look of Christ. luke 3:15-17 21-22

Doug…thanks for your kind thoughts. It’s good I think to indeed remember our baptisms from time to time! Looking forward to the good God will do through your gifts on session! Peace and prayer for you and yours…Bob
