Things here were relatively quiet in December and restful, but things have been pretty busy the past couple weeks. The new year has  started with a bang. We’ve spent quite a few evenings in the clinic. I’ve spent late nights with 2 year olds with fevers, a 60 YO with renal colic (situation still going on), and helping a nearby mission hospital move a couple very severely injured patients (we had to fly them to another facility…they had chest tubes, open fractures, and were bleeding out. The pilots had to dodge storms and other weather, but we got them to Kudjip and then home again just as
light disappeared.).

Bonnie spent most of her school break working on new units in math and a social studies unit on Switzerland (two of her students are Swiss). Of course, now we want to visit Switzerland, Germany, and other countries that Bonnie has researched. She is cleaning her room, putting up bulletin boards, and doing all the prep work for a new term. She is sad that she’ll have to get up before 6 again though (early mornings and late nights make the school terms tough for her.)

Josh is getting ready for the next school term; he has signed up for an additional Algebra II course by correspondence. That will make his next semester busier.
