Independent ministries

We have other Ministry areas that our members assist with and in some cases, partner with on their own.

• Catholic Charities of Onondaga County helps people in need regardless of their religion, race, ethnicity, or nationality…. We believe that all people have infinite value and are worthy of our respect and compassion. Above all, we are committed to creating hope and transforming lives.
• Catholic Charities of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Syracuse is dedicated to caring for those in need while promoting human development, collaboration, and the elimination of poverty and injustice. We strive to empower those served to transform their lives in the spirit of God’s love and compassion.

Our Motto: The Other Fellow First
Mission Statement: We strive to develop moral, personal, physical, and leadership skills in the spirit of fellowship and fun, enabling boys& girls to lead lives characterized by devotion to others.
Our Core Values: Character | Community | Leadership | Stewardship
Spirituality: As one of the 4 pillars of the Dudley Program (along with Athletics, the Outdoors, and the Arts) Spirituality plays an important role in every day at Dudley…and has since we were founded. This program pillar rounds out our entire program by encouraging our boys to take time to think about important questions that confront them each day of camp and beyond. Dudley (& Kiniya) are non-denominational and while Dudley was “founded on Christian ideals,” we welcome and encourage ALL faiths and philosophies.

• The Spiritual Renewal Center is a Christian ministry which offers spiritual direction, workshops and resources to all members of the community. In September 1978, Jim Krisher founded the Spiritual Renewal Center to “promote evangelization and spiritual renewal.” With a strong sense of mission, Jim promptly began offering programs in scripture and Christian spirituality and developing services that helped people get in touch with God.
• … directors on staff support individuals as they walk their path with God. In addition, we offer programs about Christian spirituality throughout the year – ranging from exploring the teachings of great Christian mystics to finding God through prayer or photography or spiritual reading and discernment.

• With humble beginnings going back to the early 1990s, Group Mission Trips has been working with and helping communities across the United States and the world. As the non-profit mission ministry of Group Cares, we work hard to bring meaningful service to the communities we serve. Since our beginning, thousands upon thousands of mission trip participants have racked up millions of volunteer hours serving people in need.
• Our mission : Group Mission Trips exist to help youth leaders by creating mission trip experiences where youth encounter Jesus.
