…is the ministry of caring for and supporting our Church family at OHPC.
We have seen God’s work in so many ways this year. We have been blessed with so many thanks for the cards, meals and phone calls we’ve provided.
The following is a list of responsibilities that are provided by our committee, our Deacons and sub-committees.
We are grateful and blessed to have such a large member base on our team.
Correspondence is important. We have sent many birthday, holiday, get well, sympathy and thinking of you cards to many
members and friends. Along with phone calls to Home bound members and also to people we just haven’t seen in a while. Often times there are things we can do to help them with their dilemma.
Meals are provided for the homebound members as well as those experiencing medical iss
ues. In times like these, this can be a welcomed relief from the challenges they face
College Care Packages: We provide Dunkin Donuts gift cards to help those students that burn the midnight oil when preparing for final exams
Communion: Is pr
ovided once per month. We also serve a Gluten free alternative in place of bread
The Hospitality Committee Decorates and dismantles the Sanctuary and Narthex throughout the year for various functions. They do an amazing job!
They also set up and provide refreshments for coffee hours and other events such as Funerals and Celebrations of Life. Clean up is done after each event
Visitation Is offered to homebound members. For those active church goers with
transportation issues, we do our best to provide a ride to and from church service.
Prayer lists: Are updated weekly and provided to the Administrative Assistant to publish to the congregation via email and bulletin.
