Onondaga Hill Presbyterian Church hosted a live reenactment of DaVinci’s Last Supper in 2019 for Maundy Thursday. The reenactment offers what may have been on the minds of the Disciples as they wonder, “Is it I?” in response to Jesus’ declaration at that table that “one of you will betray.” The moving reenactment featured members from Onondaga Hill Presbyterian Church, Cincinnatus United Presbyterian Church, First Baptist Church of Jamesville and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
This was one of the most intense yet satisfying performances I have ever been a part of. The entire cast shares my sentiment. Responses from the audience were, “It was moving”, “Your parts were so realistic”, “Taking Communion brought me to tears”. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. ~ Thaddeus
