Welcome back!
I want to personally welcome you and your child to a new school year of Christian Nurture Classes at Onondaga Hill Presbyterian Church. We have made some changes and we are very excited to kick off an exciting new year. Please join us for our orientation weekend at 9:45 a.m. on September 18. Students will have the opportunity to meet their teachers, classmates and learn about this year’s curriculum.
We are asking for parents to fill out an application for all students in grades pre-kindergarten to eighth grade. The applications will be available to pick up in the lobby or the sanctuary beginning on September 11. Please return the applications by September 18.
Here are some dates to remember:
Sunday, Sept. 18: Orientation weekend and applications due
Sunday, Sept. 25: No classes
Sunday, Oct. 2: First day of regular classes.
Full calendars of classes will be handed out on orientation weekend. I look forward to meeting with all of you. I hope you will able to participate on a regular basis throughout the school year, but you are always welcome anytime.
I’m enclosing a list with descriptions of all the classes. I would like to encourage parents to consider inviting other family members or your child’s friends to class. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
